Sant Joan Despí (Spain), 21 nov (EFE).- Barcelona Midfielder Rafinha Alcántara and central defender Jérémy Mathieu were ruled fit Friday by club doctors after they recovered from their respective injuries and will be available to play in their side's league game against Sevilla Saturday.
At training, which was held at the club's sports complex in Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona recovered players in time for an intense month of competition before the Christmas break.
Mathieu, who has missed the last several weeks because of a calf injury in his right leg, and Rafinha, who strained his thigh, were both given the green light to play.
One player who remains doubtful is Andrés Iniesta, who despite training at the same pace as his teammates, has yet to be declared fit, unlike his teammates. The midfielder injured his calf at the Clásico on 25 October.
