Family and friends of 11 student activists illegally detained by Mexican authorities during the pacific November 20 march for solidarity with Ayotzinapa are demanding the immediate release of the detainees, who were sent to maximum security penitentiaries on charges of terrorism and murder.For many detainees, their only crime is having a social conscience. NGOs and social organizations consider the 11 jailed youth as political prisoners and demand their immediate release from the government of Enrique Pena Nieto.
