Today was the third day of the UN Climate Change Conference in Lima, Peru. About 10,000 participants are on hand from NGOs and government agencies and practically every country on Earth. Hundreds of meetings are being held each day to try to reach agreement on saving the planet. As part of the activities of civil society organizations, the Climate Action Network is giving an award entitled Fossil of the Day to the countries that has least contributed to saving the planet.
