In this tutorial we will address the question of, “Which composition is better: wide angles or panoramas?”
When you are faced with a large landscape and want to communicate the grandness of the place it is sometimes wiser to use a panorama instead of one wide angle shot.
Some of the advantages of panoramas are:
1. Less distortion
2. You can really see how big is the place
3. More resolution, huge fine art prints
The workflow is as follow:
1. Find a good average F/stop speed setting, with no highlight burned
2. Retouch one of the photos, sync the result to the rest of the images in Lightroom
3. Use Photomerge to merge everything
4. Correct the missing materials of the panorama
