It's been a year since Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 vanished without a trace... on its way to Beijing,... carrying 2-hundred-thirty-nine passengers and crew.
A modest ceremony to mark the first anniversary was held in in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday,... bringing together together Malaysian, Chinese, and other nationalities.
In a separate event in Sydney,... Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott raised hopes that there's still a chance in finding the lost plane.

"Well, it can't go on forever, but, as long as there are reasonable leads, the search will go on. We've got 60,000 square kilometres that is the subject of this search. If that's unsuccessful there's another 60,000 square kilometers that we intend to search and as we said, we are reasonably confident of finding the plane."

An interim report released by Malaysia showed that the plane's captain and crew were mentally sound.
The independent probe also found that the battery of one of the black box recorders had expired more than a year before the tragic flight.
Grieving family members in China called the report "meaningless,"... saying it offered no new evidence... nor did it CLEAR doubts about what has been declared an accident.
