When the Duchess of Royston lose their fortune to a crooked casino, Lady Penelope who is a friend of her enlist the help of Jeff Tracy to try and help her reclaim their wealth through the renting her ‘Portait of a Gazelle’ to a company who is run by old friend of Tracy.
Elsewhere, two crooks attempt to steal the painting from the Duchess so that they can claim the money from Tracy’s friend and get rid of her at the same time.
