The second round of the dialogue between the Syrian government and the opposition is currently underway in Moscow. Talks started on Monday and will continue until Thursday, focusing on major issues such as the humanitarian crisis in the country and political prisoners, as a step toward resolving Syria's internal conflict. However, some opposition forces, such as the US-Backed Syrian National Council, have refused to participating, demanding that the talks lead to the resignation of President Bashar al-Asad, which is unacceptable to the government.
