Abseits der Achttausender-Gipfel bietet der Karakorum ein riesiges Potential für die Erstbesteigung einsamer Gipfel zwischen 6000 und 7000 m Höhe. Da diese weit abseits von Wegen und den üblichen Trekkingrouten liegen, sind wir auf Skiern unterwegs und ziehen Ausrüstung und Verpflegung für vier Wochen in Pulkas.
Der dabei entstehende 45- bis 60-minütige Dokumentarfilm beschreibt die abenteuerliche Skireise von Tamara Lunger und ihren Begleitern durch die weit verzweigten Gletscher Pakistans und findet in einer Erstbesteigung seinen Höhepunkt.
