Bahamian Pastor Dr. Myles Munroe and his family were reportedly among nine people killed in a Grand Bahama jet crash on Sunday Evening.
The Lear 36 Executive Jet departed from the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau at 4:07 p.m. and crashed as it was landing at Grand Bahama International Airport in Freeport at 5:10 p.m., the Department of Civil Aviation said.
The private jet reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Shipyard as it was landing, exploding on impact before crashing to the ground.
The group was flying to attend the Global Leadership Forum to be hosted on Monday by the Bahamas Faith Ministries, an organization Munroe founded.
