Quito, Ecuador was the scene of two May Day marches to mark International Workers' Day. The backdrop for one of the mobilizations was the Citizen Revolution headed by President Rafael Correa, under which major gains have been achieved for the Ecuadoran masses. Marchers emphasized what has been achieved under the Correa administration.
