Argentine Ministers of Education, Social Development, and Foreign Affairs together with leading national and foreign academicians and intellectuals met in Buenos Aires on Monday for the 10th meeting of the World Council of the Jose Marti International Solidarity Project. The project aims to popularize the teachings of Jose Marti, the Cuban national hero and independence fighter and a leading figure in Latin American emancipation. The timeliness of Marti's thinking for today's Latin America was emphasized by participants in the gathering.
