2015-05-21 0 Dailymotion

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto attended the first session of the country's National System of Attention to Victims. The agency seeks to address the concerns and needs of family members of victims of crime-related violence and those who have experienced human rights violations. Peña Nieto said the existence of the National System and similar agencies is proof that authorities are responding to the needs of victims of organized crime and human rights abuses. Family members of the victims, however, charged that such agencies are bureaucratic and inefficient. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
