The fourth edition of the Argentina-Venezuela Pedagogical Expedition is currently underway in Argentina. Sponsored by grassroots social and political organizations and trade unions from both countries, the participating educators will travel throughout Argentina visiting public schools and colleges, debating the need for a radical educational reform and integrated curriculum throughout Latin America. Although both Argentina and Venezuela have scored major advances in education in recent years, challenges remain, especially on the level of a socially based emancipatory approach to classroom instruction.
