Following weeks of mass protests in Guatemala against corruption, with demonstrators calling for the resignation of President Otto Perez Molina, on Friday congress appointed an investigation commission. Its job will be to determine whether to strip Perez of his immunity from prosecution and have him face investigation in the corruption scandal that has rocked his cabinet.
