Human remains have been found in a mass grave in the city of Potosi in Bolivia. The grave that is believed to date back to the Colonial Period was found by construction workers who are remodeling the August 6 Square, which commemorates Bolivian Independence Day. Spaniards discovered silver in the area in 1545 and constructed mines in which indigenous and African slaves worked. An estimated 8 million slaves died. teleSUR.
