This evening our host Reagan DesVignes chats with a leader of Sweden’s Left Party, Jonas Sjostedt. Some of the same neoliberal policies forged in the laboratory of Latin America have also wreaked havoc in Europe, and like many leftists, Sjostedt has been inspired by the successes of Ecuador, Venezuela and Bolivia in breaking with this model. He underscores the reduction of poverty in Ecuador, as well as its investments in education and efforts to redistribute the wealth.
