Fjord Service Design Conference

“Living Services”; they are systems that organically adapt and expand around users. These services are constantly learning more about our needs, goals and preferences, and they flex themselves to become more relevant, engaging and useful over time.

This will require designers to imagine a whole new set of interaction systems for smarter products and services. This means engaging more with human senses such as voice, gestures and body sensors, as well as taking into account the context and circumstances. With these ever-extending interaction channels we will have completely new ways to reach, aid, empower, educate and delight the user.
At the IxDA Helsinki meetup, to be held at Fjord Helsinki on March 19th we will discuss what Living Services are, how they will evolve in cities and how we can use rapid protyping to express and communicate the experience.
