The Israeli and Palestinian FIFA delegates Jibril Rajoub and Ofer Eini met and shook hands to the applause of officials during the 65th FIFA Congress in Zurich. The so-called "handshake for peace" between the two delegates happened after the Palestinian Football Association canceled its bid to see FIFA suspend the Israeli national side from international football competition.
