Here is a video with me sparring a former student of mine. He was one of my favorite students to spar with. He was naturally strong, he had fast hands, he was bigger, he was taller, he was able to take hits, and he had emotional control, he didn't get easily angry.
He had a lot of potential to be a great Martial Artist if he continued to practice and train, but unfortunately he just disappeared. This is a video where we are getting a feel for each other before making contact later on in other sparring videos. But out of all the sparring demos I have made, I would say the sparring I have with DJ is clearly the best demo's I have and then the next would be with this former student.
Not many people would I say have all the athletic qualities he had, the spiritual calmness, and ability to pick up on techniques quickly like this former student, in addition we had a good friendly connection that kept the sparring serious but not too serious.
