iPads replace waiters & cashiers in a San-Fransisco restaurant

2015-09-07 12 Dailymotion

Eatsa is San Francisco's first automated restaurant with no workers in sight - only iPads and automated self-service cubicles. The restaurant operates with iPad tablets, where the client can swipe the credit card and mix and match the meals' ingredients. Then the client's name is displayed on a transparent LED window, that opens after tapping on it twice, so the customer can remove the food. The clients' whole experience is completely devoid of human contact.
