Animals don’t have to go to Martial Art schools to learn how to fight, they know how to fight based off of instinct, it is survival for them. For humans, their instinct is to either run or fight back. If you are unarmed and somebody comes in and starting shooting and killing people, you will likely run or get cover, this is part of your inbuilt instinct to survive. Now if somebody is trying to kick and punch at you to hurt you, what will be your instinct? Are you going to run? If so, and then they run after you and the catch up to you, then what will you do then? What will you do when you are cornered? Well Safe Sparring is the way to test your natural instincts and then find out the flaws, and fix them.
