Peruvian health workers are on a 24-hour strike to demand that the government fulfill agreements made at the end of their last work stoppage. The union is demanding that a large percentage of temporary workers be permanently hired, the sector workforce be increased to attended to patient demand, salary hikes, and equal pay for equal work. For now, only emergency services are being provided. It is still unclear how the government will respond. Rael Mora reports from Lima. teleSUR
