Bolivia’s President Evo Morales is one step closer to seeking another term in office after the National Assembly overwhelmingly approved a bill by a two-thirds vote on Saturday to change the Constitution to remove term limits. A referendum will be held on February 21 next year to ratify the decision. While the majority reaction in the country has been overwhelmingly positive, opposition forces oppose the measure.
