The story behind this song... While I was performing in Macau a few years ago there was a night I went out to a dance club and met a really beautiful Taiwanese girl. We danced for a while, and then ended up going back to my place together. It was a pretty lonely time in my life, and I was happy to have had this girl pick me to spend the night with. She was really charming, and I kind of hoped it would turn into something more. I suddenly had a thought as she was laying next to me. I wondered why she had decided to spend the night with me, so I asked her. She looked right through me as if reading the words written across my own heart, and said with 100% honesty... "...because I'm afraid of being alone". Those words echoed in my head, and turned into this song.
