A bizarre video has emerged from China of a man found roller skating on a highway because he could not afford a ticket to get home.
The footage, captured during a police patrol in Fujian Province on Friday, shows the young man skating on the hard shoulder in the dark.
According to news reports, the 23-year-old guy had been deceived by a group of network marketing people to leave home, but soon ran away after he realised the trap. With only 20 yuan (about £2) and a pair of roller skates to hand, he decided to "roll" home.
The police officers later sent him off the highway and paid his travel expenses.
