Punonjës te administratës, minatorë dhe sindikaliste kane protestuar këtë 1 maj kundër papunësisë se larte dhe varfërisë ne vend. Te grumbulluar para kryeministrisë protestuesit kane denoncuar politikat e qeverise dhe pushtetit vendor për punësimin, ku sipas tyre, bindjet politike dalin mbi çdo kriter aftësie. Drejtues te sindikatave e kane cilësuar te turpshëm panairin e punës qe organizohet disa metra larg vendit ku u mbajt protesta. Sipas tyre, këto aktivitete ku as 100 veta nuk sigurojnë pune brenda 1 viti, nuk mund te mbulojnë realitetin dhe varfërinë e larte ne Shqipëri. Nga dy protestat e njëpasnjëshme, ajo e punonjësve te administratës dhe me pas ajo e minatorëve, protestuesit bene thirrje për zbatimin e ligjeve dhe kryerjen e reformave sipas standardeve te Bashkimit Evropian.
