Ne prag te 1 qershorit ditës se fëmijëve, fondacioni "Fëmijët Shqiptare" bën thirrje për mbrojtje te te drejtave te te miturve. Sipas drejtueses se tij Liri Berisha fakti qe Shqipëria mban presidencën e radhës se komitetit te ministrave ne Këshillin e Evropës, i jep mundësinë për te forcuar punën ne këtë drejtim. Një nga këto iniciativa është edhe ajo e ngritjes se mekanizmit te avokatit te fëmijëve. Tirana është zgjedhur nder 6 kryeqytetet e botes për te promovuar mbrojtjen e te drejtave te fëmijëve ne baze te konventës se tyre miratuar nga kombet e bashkuara ne 1989.
