A leopard entered a school premises in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka and injured three. Chikmagalur is surrounded by lush green forests and tall mountains from where the big cat is speculated to have sneaked into the residential areas.
The school students on sight of the wild cat started screaming which scared the animal who ran into one of the classrooms and has not come out since then.
Forest officials rushed to the spot and rescue operations are underway. All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
