In a room packed with more than 200 people attending a matchmaking event in downtown Shanghai, love is in the air. Except that almost all the participants are at least 50 years old and single, mostly divorcees. They include retiree Sun Wenbao, 70, who ended an unhappy marriage of 36 years in 2006 and has been attending the weekly matchmaking session since 2013 in search of his "true love".
