A number of Americans have been abducted in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, the US embassy has confirmed.
US embassy officials say they are working closely with the Iraqi authorities to find the group, who were seized on Friday evening.
Unconfirmed reports from Iraqi security circles said three Americans and an Iraqi translator were seized on the southern side of Baghdad.
