Impressive footage has emerged from Cumbria, UK, of a swollen river crashing down hill following heavy rainfall.
The video, filmed today, shows the water flowing quickly into the Thirlmere Resevoir, carrying rubble with it.
The filmer later wrote online: "Torrential rain early Tuesday hit the Lake District as Cumbria felt the tail end of Storm Jonas.
"The rivers, already swollen and still with damaged banks from Storm Desmond, simply found the fastest way of getting down hill and into the Thirlmere Resevoir."
