Michael Phelps came out of retirement at the age of 29 in April of 2014. Phelps is currently training at Arizona State University. For ASU's Thursday-night contest against Oregon State, the swimmer participated in the Sun Devils' traditional "Curtain of Distraction" during a pair of Stephen Thompson Jr. free throws.
