While distracted by her concern for her stepson, Sam falls down a flight of stairs leaving her injured and unconscious. Jake believes he's killed her and runs. Meanwhile, Jason and Jake's mom discover just how troubled their son is when they realize he lied about the stalker and faked the break-in himself.
