The downpour during the anti-pork protest Friday night, Oct. 7, 2013 in Makati City failed to drown the voices that demanded the scrapping of what has been deemed as a major source of corruption in government. Songs from bands and folk singers filled the makeshift stage along Ayala, fuelling nationalist sentiments with songs like "Bayan Ko".
