About Dr. Sheikh
Dr. Sheikh worked at top universities in the united states and was highly recommended before she completed residency training from U.C Davis and San Joaquin General Hospital. California improperly denied to issue her a physicians license without any hearing by the medical board resulting in numerous retirements and resignations (2011).
Senator Bill Emmerson inquired Removal from Residency
Dr. Sheikh's Hospital claimed that Medical Board issued an order to suspend her residency training. 'The Board or someone in the name of the Board issued such an order without any complaint and without stating any good cause. Dr. Sheikh's attorney asked the board to have a hearing but the Board denied all requests for hearing since 2008.
Senator Bill Emmerson, rather than inquiring the Medical Board, inquired Dr. Sheikh;
'What reasons the Board give to revoking your residency program'. Senator Bill Emmerson, a dentist by profession, also announced sudden retirement from Senate later that year. The Senator stated, my passion has vaned.
