The history of reggae surely would have been much less interesting without the magnificent voice in falsetto of Cornell Campbell and his great versatility: features which placed him in the pantheon of great Jamaican singers. Born in 1945, he began recording music for Studio One during the ska era when he was only eleven. His career started strongly in his youth with experience in groups like the Sensations and the Eternals , but this extraordinary artist reached maturity in the period of the "Flying Cymbals " recording for Bunny Lee an imposing mass of material, including gems like "The Gorgon", "Duke of Earl" and " Nattydread in a Greenwich Farm " . Another important hit is "Boxing Around", recorded for Joe Gibbs in 1981. He has recently worked in collaboration with the Londoners, Soothsayers on a magnificent album "Nothing can not Stop Us" and it is with them that Cornell will perform both classic material and tracks from the 2013 album.
