Near Malda town is Ramkeli Dham, which is the meeting place of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with Srila Rupa Goswami and Srila Sanatana Goswami. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu came here with lakhs of devotees chanting the holy name of the Lord, dancing and performing Harinam Sankirtan all the way to deliver Rupa & Sanatan Goswami. Madan Mohan deities which were worshiped by Srila Sanatana Goswami, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's footprints, the sacred Tamal and Kadamba tree ( known as Keli Kadamba ), Radha & Shyam Kunda, Lalita Kunda, Rup Sagar, a ten foot tall open deity of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is situated here. Srila Jiva Goswami installed a deity of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu which is still worshiped here. Every year in Jaishtha sankranti (in the month of May & June) a week long fair is held to commemorate the arrival of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. This fair is attended by many devotees from far off places.
