North 24 Parganas (WB), May 13 (ANI): Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Tapas Mallick was arrested from Bamangachhi, North 24 Parganas in West Bengal in connection with lynching of an ITI student. Suspected of involving in cattle smuggling, Kaushik Purkait who was out for an evening stroll, was held by a mob, confined in a local club and was beaten to death in South 24 Parganas district's Diamond Harbour. So far, four persons, including a woman, have been arrested in the case that took place three days ago.
