New Delhi/Guwahati, May 19 (ANI): Supporters and workers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday celebrated the party's win in Assam with great enthusiasm and zeal. The saffron party swept the polls with 83 seats in the northeast state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended wishes to the party on the big victory. This is the first time that the lotus has bloomed in Assam. The supporters burnt firecrackers and played with colours marking the win.
