That was this scene on the hike out to Secret Falls in Kauai.
The journey starts with a Kayak ride until you reach the turn for the river heading to the falls. If you are patient enough to follow it in, you can 't miss where the Kayaks stop and the 1 mile or so hike begins
This is not a hard journey to the falls, but it isn't easy because you will have to work to get there.
By work I mean Kayak.
Once on the hiking trail, there was some mud, things to climb over and through, as well as an actual river crossing.
We've had lots of rain lately so the speed and depth of the river was certainly affected by that. (dry season may be not much there)
We discovered there are two ways into the falls and we chose to follow the path along the river which paid off when seeing this.
I could have sat her for hours enjoying this sound and view.
