Government forces retake Kinsibba after two days of heavy fighting The Syrian Army reasserted control over the town of Kinsibba in Northern Lattakia province on Monday, after two days of intense fighting with the Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) group. Supported by the paramilitary group ‘Desert Hawks’ and the ‘Syrian Marines,’ government forces used drones to identify targets before bombarding the town with various artillery from the Shilf Castle, a strategic hilltop to the south of Kinsibba.
