Multilevel marketing or mlm as it is sometimes called is where you are paid from products that you sale but also you earn money when you recruit people to do the exact something. You earn a commission off the efforts of others. This is known as your downline. Depending on how your company pay plan is laid out you can get paid on many different levels of your downline. When you sign-up you become known as a distributor for that company.
Multi-level marketing is a business you probably are already doing but just not getting paid for it. Let’s say you go out and eat at a restaurant and the food was great and service was outstanding. The next day you are talking to your friend and you tell them about it and then they go there. This is a form of network marketing except you didn’t get paid for sending them there.
