At one point, Hillary Clinton’s list of potential running mates included Bill Gates, Tim Cook, and Bernie Sanders, according to hacked emails published by WikiLeaks. The list is believed to be a first-run at possible picks and asks Clinton to add or remove individuals before the campaign could start vetting candidates. Clinton ultimately picked Tim Kaine in July.
