While she finds this as a weakness, her parents constantly tell her that it is alright, and they warn her to stay away from the undertow. Later, young Dory has been separated from her parents, and is constantly trying to find them. No matter how hard, however, she cannot find anyone who can help, and as she grows older, she even forgets who she is looking for. She then suddenly sees a white boat, and a frantic clownfish. Running into him, she promises to help him find something himself: his kidnapped son.\r
