Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took a risk by opting for a dark character with movies like Baazigar and Darr despite making a name for himself as a romantic actor...and now, it seems that Ranbir Kapoor too wants to follow the King Khan's footsteps.
In a recent interview, Ranbir, who has mostly played the quintessential chocolate boy romantic hero in his movies, revealed that he would want to play an out and out negative role as he wants to play with characters and explore himself as an actor. Fans of Ranbir might however remember that the actor had played a slightly grey character in Prakash Jha's Raajneeti, where he was seen playing the role of political heir Samar, who believes in the ends justifying the means. Ranbir will be next seen playing the role of a deaf and mute young man named Murphy in Anurag Basu's Barfi!, which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz.
