The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature is an upcoming 2017 American-Canadian-South Korean 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film directed by Cal Brunker and written by Cal Brunker, Bob Barlen and Scott Bindley. It is the sequel to the 2014 film The Nut Job. The film stars Will Arnett, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph, Jackie Chan, Bobby Moynihan, Bobby Cannavale and Peter Stormare. Produced by Gulfstream Pictures, Redrover International and ToonBox Entertainment, the film is scheduled to be released theatrically on August 18, 2017, by Open Road Films.
