The chakra system is the field of gentle subtle energy that animates our physical bodies. There are seven main chakras and they are located along the spine extending out the front and back of the body. Here are the main chakra locations in our body:
(1) Root Chakra is located at the base of spine.
(2) Sacral Chakra is located in lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel and two inches in.
(3) Solar Plexus Chakra is located in upper abdomen in the stomach area.
(4) Heart Chakra is located at the center of chest.
(5) Throat Chakra is located in the center of the throat.
(6) Third Eye Chakra is located in the forehead between the eyes.
(7) Crown Chakra is located at the top of the head.
When these chakras are out of alignment, we can feel off center from our most natural state of well being. Blocked energy in our seven chakras can often lead to illness.
