Wednesday morning, police say a man tried to run over officers near the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The driver first hit a police cruiser and then targeted other Capitol officers. The incident occurred at around 9:30 A.M. on Independent Avenue. There are no reported injuries and the driver has been taken into custody.
