Sleep is desperately important, we need rest and we need it quickly. We wish to feel relaxed sooner than later so that we can catch up on our work schedule. Here is how you do it! But!

First you need to understand sleep cycle. If you didn't know you sleep in 5 stages and they make up your sleep cycle.

The first three are a part of non REM SLEEP,
Stage 1: lasts for upto 5-10 minutes where you're slowing down, and getting ready to enter la la land. That was a terrible movie right?

Stage 2: Your body temperature drops, your heart rate, slows down and you get ready for stage 3 and 4.

Stage 3 & 4: these are for deep sleep, and this is when the repair work of your body happens. If someone woke you up during this phase, you'd wake up feeling like hell for a few minutes.

Finally comes REM sleep: when your dreams happen and your eyes move around in a rapid fashion.

So if you want that ideal power nap all you need to do is to wake up towards the end of STAGES. Now this precise time can vary between 20-30 minutes of sleep depending on how long you take to feel relaxed and energized. Any longer than that, well,
You'll end up wanting to kill someone if you're woken up.
Bonus: remember to sleep in 90 minute intervals, if you're looking to get some extra inaction in bed and also don't sleep after 4pm, because after that you just can't seem to sleep at night.
So guys, it's important to know that though as humans we tend to sleep for one primary period in a day, it's ok to snooze a little bit now and then. But if you're going to nap, be sure to hit that snooze button before the 30 minute mark. It's important to maintain good sleep hygiene to maintain a consistent performance level. So set your alarms and get napping to feel amazing.
