A dramatic video has emerged of a snowboard outrunning an avalanche in the Kenai Mountains near Seward, AK, USA.
The footage, shot on April 8, captures the moment a slab of snow detached from the slope nearly taking out the snowboarder.
"Luckily, it started relatively small, I stayed on my feet, and was able to ride out of the avalanche without consequence. My heart was pounding!" he wrote online.
